The DUNAPACK® Team is proud to introduce the latest innovation in the Air In Place (AIP) product range, which perfectly represents the constant and continuous research toward environmentally sustainable packaging solutions for filling and goods protection: the new packaging air cushion DUNAPACK® RIO LIGHT.

The DUNAPACK® R&D Team is since ever committed to Clients needs and environmental sustainability, which drives the reaserch toward the development of new innovative packaging solutions as the newly launched ais cushion DUNAPACK® RIO LIGHT.

Rio Light is the new born of the AIR IN PLACE range, featuring extremely thin thickness reducing raw material up to -40%. Moreover, RIO LIGHT contains up to 35% recycled raw material, fully compliant to the new EU Regulation 2025/40 published within the European Journal on January 22 gennaio 2025.

Rio Light is potentially reusable and 100% ryciclable at life end ensuring very good performaces related to resistance to perforation, a key factor in order to protect goods to destination avoiding damages, which would cause negative impacts to the environmental footprint along the the supply chain.

Additionally, the Rio Light boxes have a reduced weight and are even easier to handle improving the ergonomy of the work station as well as the productivity.

The Rio Light cushion is available in 200x200mm format, which ensures optimal void filling as into carton pallet and  boxes of significant dimensions, reducing the necessary quantoty of packging material needed.

Each Rio Light cushion weights less than 1g and therefore contributes to lighter and more sustainable parcel boxes, with a positive impact on the transport costs.
