RAMADAN 2022: CHANGE IN WORKING TIME FOR DUNA-EMIRATES

From 2 April to 2 May 2022, all over the world the Muslim believers observe RAMADAN, the month of fasting. As every year, DUNA-EMIRATES will modify its working time to allow its Collaborators to respect the moments of prayer, fasting and rest


Ramadan, the most important month of the Muslim calendar, this year will take place from Saturday 2 April to Saturday 2 May. This period of fasting and prayer recalls the lunar month when the Prophet Muhammad received the first Revelation and represents one of the five Pillars of Islam.

To allow its Collaborators of Muslim faith to observe this religious recurrence and respect the moments of fasting and daily prayer, as every year DUNA-EMIRATES has decided to modify its opening hours, voluntarily complying with the Guidelines of the Free Zone of Fujairah, addressed to Public Administrations. Throughout the month of April, from Monday to Friday, DUNA-EMIRATES’S commercial activities will take place from 7h30 to 15h00, with early closure in the afternoon and rest on Saturday and Sunday.
